8M, Irregularity is multiple and decentralized violence
Since 2014, with the support of different Basque public institutions, the Association Emigrad@s Without Borders has carried out a process of accompaniment to about 200 women of different nationalities and origins within the framework of the Project "Unorganised migrant women care and domestic workers as single mothers in an irregular situation"
In this process, it has been established that one of the obstacles faced by these women in the Basque Autonomous Community and in the rest of the Spanish State is the renunciation of that same State to the consolidation of a society in conditions of equal opportunities and access to rights.
The political, legislative, and administrative structures are constituted in such a way that they reinforce abuses against this group, leaving these women exposed to a greater risk of suffering any type of violence, isolation, and social exclusion.

For this reason, they have created a photographic exhibition, La irregularidad es violencia múltiple y descentralizada (Irregularity is multiple and decentralised violence), which can be visited throughout the month of March, in the Metro Bilbao stations: Zazpikaleak/Casco Viejo station until the 16th, and in Santimami/San Mamés station until the 31st.
