These "results at the mouth of the ballot box", were given at 24.00 Bolivian time, that is to say, with 4 hours of delay, since it was foreseen that they would be announced at 20.00 Bolivian time. This issue was criticized by analysts, representatives of the parties that participated in the electoral contest, and international observers of Codepink; who will be presenting a document on the subject during the course of the day. In view of the delay, the electoral authorities presented an apology and called for patience and calm. This call was seconded by all party representatives and by the de facto President herself, Jeanine Áñez Chávez, who has already congratulated Luis Arce.
It should be noted that 12 hours before the start of the presidential election process, the Supreme Electoral Tribunal of Bolivia announced the suspension of the system of dissemination of preliminary results (Direpre) with the aim of "not generating uncertainty" in the population and confirmed that it would only deliver official results.
