Berdindu, information and care service for lesbian, gay, trans, bisexual and intersex (LGTBI) people.

The Department of Equality, Justice and Social Policies of the Basque Government offers the Berdindu Service, for information and attention to lesbian, gay, trans, bisexual and intersex (LGTBI) people, as well as their environment.

 Berdindu offers users:

- Attention, information and guidance on issues of sexual orientation and gender identity.

- Emotional and social accompaniment in becoming aware of them.

- Guidance in accessing socialisation networks.

- Support and guidance in the defence and exercise of rights.

- Attention and accompaniment for victims of LGTBIphobia and discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation and gender.

- Information on access to the public services that the Basque Government has at its disposal.

- Counselling for family members and relatives.

- Support groups for families.

In addition, if they need to express themselves in sign language or in a language other than Basque or Spanish, a new simultaneous translation service is available.

It also offers advice to any kind of public or private entity in relation to sexual and gender diversity.
